My dad used to straddle his saddle to Court my mom.
When high tech made its debut with a buggy for two,
Courting became a realm of cozy privacy away from
Rain and the strain of conversing with mom’s parents
About the weather. Finally on their own they roamed
Country roads paving the way to the charm and harm
Of the auto decades before their grandkids found the
same thrill. But dad was not through with privacy. When
I was eight and my brother ten he bought a neat little
Ford coupe with a rumble seat for two. This time it was
We hankering for privacy.

Great progression of means-of-transit and related emotions. Well done, Glen🚗✈️🚀
